PTA MEETING
Join us for the First Monthly PTA Meeting of the year! This year the PTA will meet on the second Thursday of the Month. This first meeting will be in person at ASH directly following the Playground Meet Up**
We will discuss plans for the year including committee work, upcoming events and fundraisers, and hold elections for 2 empty board positions. If you are interested in serving on the Executive Board please reach out. PTA officers serve one year terms so all of our positions will be up for reelection for the 2026-27 school year. The election for the 2026-27 school year is held in January! We also need parents and volunteers interested in leading and joining committees on the PTA. Please get in touch if you are interested.

Harvest Fest Planning Meeting
Harvest Fest is the largest school wide event the PTA presents. This year Harvest Fest will take place on Friday, October 24, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Featuring Trunk or Treating, costumes, music, games and food! We need a lot of volunteers to make Harvest Fest a success. Join us Tuesday, September 30, 2024 at 7pm for a planning meeting on Zoom to help make this year’s Harvest Fest one to remember.

Fall Flowers Fundraiser LAST DAY TO ORDER!
Monday, September 22, 2025 is the last day to play your flower orders! Make sure to send your order forms in with your student or purchase your flowers here on our site in our Shop! Pick up will be Thursday September 25, from 2:45pm-5:30pm on the basketball court. 40% of the sales we make get donated back to the PTA! Please purchase your flowers and share with family and friends!

PTA Volunteer Training
Join us for Volunteer Orientation! RSVP for a 30 minute slot during parent teacher conferences, on Thursday, October 24, 2024. We’ll run through where supplies are located, setting up the PTA table, using the popcorn popper and setting up and running the concessions table. RSVP on Class Dojo or email the PTA
Garden Clean Up
Join to ready our garden beds for the winter and next spring. Please bring your own glove and hand tools if you like. Yard bags will be provided. Interesting in creating a Gardening Club? Parents are welcome to attend and share ideas to form a garden club.

Playground Meet Up
Join us at Ridgefield Park, 316 Partridge Street in Albany, for our first Playground Meet Up! Saturday October 5, 2024 10am-12pm. All ASH Students and Families are invited to attend. Snacks and juice provided. Please remember to bring water!
Summer Movie Night
The ASH PTA invites you to a Summer Movie Night, Monday August 26, 2024 at 5:30pm. We will be screening “IF” at the Albany School of Humanities Performance Center (through the rotunda entrance) 108 Whitehall Road, Albany NY 12209. Movie begins at 5:30pm. Admission and Popcorn are free. Concessions will be available for sale. Families are encourage to bring blankets to snuggle with on the floor of thevPerformance Center. Movie night is a great opportunity for new students to meet their classmates and returning students to reconnect. We hope you will join us!

BINGO NIGHT and PTA MEETING
Come play Bingo and take home some fun prizes. Interspersed between rounds of bingo we’ll host our first in person PTA meeting this spring. Board Game Club
Does your ASH Student enjoy board games and card games? Are they in grade 3, 4, or 5? If so consider signing them up for ASH’s first Board Game Club! Meetings will start Tuesday, Nov 28th be held every Tuesday with Mrs. Adams. Students must turn in completed permission slip to join.
