FUNDRAISING
Our Fundraising Efforts ASH PTA is a 501 (c)3 non profit organization, raising funds through, donations, year-round national fundraisers, as well as fundraising sales campaigns that raise more than 80% of our annual operating budget. We have various sponsorship levels for corporate and business partners whose missions are aligned with ASH PTA interested in underwriting events and trips. We are also in need of in kind donations for our school clubs, classrooms, and event concessions. Sponsors can find more information here.

Year Round Fundraisers
Year Round Fundraisers Support the ASH PTA through grocery purchases and dining out locally. Below are on going, year-round fundraisers that support the ASH PTA. Click the links below for more on each effort.
Clear the List kicks off in July each year. ASH teachers provide the PTA with a comprehensive list of all the supplies and equipment needed for their classrooms throughout the school year. Shop our Amazon List and purchases will be sent directly to school.
Givebacks is the New York State PTA website through which you can support your ASH PTA by shopping and dining locally. More info here
Clynk is a bottle redemption program facilitated at Hannaford Supermarkets. Collect bottles and cans to redeem for deposits. Bottles and cans must be collected in green plastic Clynk bags available at the PTA table fixed with our ASH PTA barcode sticker. More info here
Box Tops for Education has raised over a billion dollars since it started in 1996. you no longer need to clip the tops of cereal boxes. Download the app and scan or upload your receipts from local stores like Hannaford, Target and Price Chopper. More info here
Colonie Center School Bucks program assigns points to each dollar ASH family spend at Colonie Center stores. Area schools compete to earn the most points for a grand prize of $8,000. ASH has been in the top three schools for the last 5 years. More info here
Fundraising Campaigns
Fundraising Campaigns Throughout the year the ASH PTA works with local business partners to present fundraising sales campaigns that raise more than 80% of our operating budget. Our business partners donate 30-40% of our sales back to ASH PTA. We sell seasonal potted plants in the fall, potted flowers and vegetables in the spring and hand made chocolates and candies in the late winter. Each item is available for purchase online in addition to physical order forms sent home with students. Please share each of these efforts with family and friends.
Fall Flowers kicks off the first week of school. Mums, Asters, and ornamental cabbage are for sale until Monday September 22, 2025. Click below to order or get more information here
Krause’s Candy begins after the holiday break and features more than 2 dozen chocolates and candies that will arrive just before Easter. More information here
Spring Flowers begins before spring break in April. We offer geraniums, impatiens, daisies and mixed arrangements to order in advance. We will also have vegetable starts for sale at pick up. More information here
