Members ASH PTA needs dedicated volunteers to help us present events throughout the year, raise funds to support our academic initiatives, supply our classrooms with equipment, and cover field trip costs. Parents, students, teachers and community members can all join the PTA, serve on committees, volunteer at events, assist with administrative tasks and serve on the Executive Board. There are so many ways to get involved from helping once a year to serving on the board, varying time committments are welcome.

Benefits As a member of the ASH PTA you will receive calendar invitations (from google) via email to attend our zoom and in person meetings, a listing on our website, invitation to Join PTA WhatsApp thread.Members in good standing can vote at PTA meetings, join or lead committees, and serve on the Executive Board.

Membership Week! Join with a Family Membership before September 19, 2025 and receive a special gift, an 8” potted chrysanthemum. Gold Family Members will receive a special ASH merchandise item as well as a potted chrysanthemum. Mums can be picked up Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Membership Info Choose from any of the following membership types below. Individual, Teacher, and Family Memberships are paid once are good for the current Academic year 2025-2026. Subscription Memberships are paid annually and the payment is recurring charged each year between September 1-October 1. Membership fees may increase modestly each year based on adopted changes to the PTA bylaws. Gold Memberships are paid one time and valid for five years (2025-2030) or the length your student remains at ASH. Family Memberships include all members within one’s household.

Albany School of Humanities Parent Teacher Association (ASH PTA) is organized and chartered under the authority of New York State Congress of Parents and Teachers, Inc. (New York State PTA) a constituent association of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers (National PTA). Members of ASH PTA are by virtue of their membership, also members of New York State and National PTA. National PTA dues are $3.25, (increase effective July 2025), and New York State PTA dues are $1.75. ASH PTA charges $1 per member and remits $5 to New York State PTA for each member who joins ASH PTA. This is the lowest membership fee we can charge. The ASH PTA Membership Committee Chair remits dues to New York State PTA and National PTA on behalf of each member who joins through ASH PTA here on our website ASHPTA.org.
