ASH PTA
The Albany School of Humanities Parent Teacher Association (ASH PTA) works to connect parents, faculty, and students with the common goal of making our school community a better place for all. All family members, teachers, staff, and community members are welcome to join the ASH PTA! The PTA supports reimbursement for classroom supplies, field trips, staff appreciation gifts, and school wide cultural and social events.
We need volunteers for the following events ! Sign Up to Help below.
Fifth Graders and theater lovers are invited to attend a behind the scenes presentation on Disney’s The Lion King with Broadway makeup artist Alison Wadsworth. Pizza and Concessions will be available for sale. A donation of $5 at is suggested for attendees and a raffle for a Colonie Center Gift Card will take place at the event. ASH fifth grade students can sign up to be selected to have their face painted as a character from Lion King. RSVP’s encouraged, 5th Grade students can sign up in the RSVP form. PTA Meeting
The PTA meets the second Thursday of each month.
December’s meeting will be
Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 7pm on Zoom, to accommodate the Winter Concert Thursday December 11, 2025. Click the link below to join.
If you are interested in helping to lead the PTA please reach out. Our board is comprise of parents and teachers who volunteer their time and serve one year terms, with the option to run for a second consecutive term. Our next election to fill board positions for the 2026-27 school year, will be in January. The PTA elects new board positions in January so that new board members can train along side current members from January to June, before beginning their terms July 1, 2026. Each role will be vacant in January.
